Do FLIES DREAM? - SHORT DOCUMENTARY (DIRECTOR / WRITER) 2018
I had the opportunity to participate in the SCIENCE FILM SPRINT at World Congress of Science and Factual Producers ’18 (November 27 – 30, 2018), in partnership with LiveLab at the Griffith Film School, where I was one of five factual filmmakers that were paired with five leading scientists to produce a creative short science film over 72 hours!
The completed films screened on the final day of Congress in front of a public audience and esteemed judges.
My film, Flies Dream? was the winning film selected by the jury, and joined the WCSFP in Tokyo for Congress 2019
Bhaje - Abstract document (Director of Photography, editor)
Bhaje is the story of an ancient cave personified as a woman, telling her story of the strange creatures that created her and roam her halls.
This is the “documentary” I shot & edited in a collaborative setting with the students at FTII in Pune during Griffith Film Schools tour of India in early 2018. I say “documentary” because it blurs the line between fiction and reality. All of this was shot on my GH4 and shot and edited in 4 days.

TOILET PAPER - SHORT SKETCH (DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY) 2019
one of many sketches made with some film school friends on the YouTube channel almost funny films
I was the cinematographer for this sketch comedy film. It was a fun experience just being in charge of what’s happening with the camera and being able to play with Gh5s with Ronin-S, incorporating a lot of movement with the crash zooms on the Panasonic f2.8 35-100mm. The fight scene is definitely my favourite part of the sketch.
the breakup - short sketch (DIREctor, writer, director of photography) 2019
Despite it being for a competition I've wanted to make more live action short films on a small scale and after film school and after months and months of nothing happening, it happened cause of this cool contest. This was a cool new experience of having a minimal crew (i.e just me playing with LED's and the ronin-s) and directing my friends (and girlfriend) as actors which was a bit of a learning curve (and a bit unusual cause of the script). I was completely perplexed when writing the script, going from extremely dark (a murder suicide) to this comedy (I think I chose the right one).
